Overview

Delhi is a beautiful city and it is the capital of India. It is an old city because it has many buildings that were built during the ancient time. Delhi has two parts one is old Delhi which is built during the Mughal period and New Delhi which has many beautiful parks and big new buildings.

Itinerary

Welcome aboard the Maharajas' Express. Begin your journey with a welcome drink and live instrumental music at Delhi Safdarjung station. Enjoy a leisurely lunch onboard before deboarding to visit the City Palace galleries and an exclusive dinner. Overnight at Jaipur.

After breakfast you will visit the Amber Fort, a blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Enjoy a tour of the royal apartments and the Chamber of Mirrors.

Overnight at train.

In the early morning safari at Ranthambore National Park, famous for its wildlife sightings. Return to the train for breakfast and continue to Fatehpur Sikri. Explore the deserted Mughal city with its impressive gateways and sculptured palaces.

On arrival in Agra and visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a breakfast with a view of the Taj Mahal. Return to the train for lunch and dinner as the train heads to orchha. Overnight at train.

On arrival at Orchha, you willl visit the quaint village of Orchha and its historic fort. Return to the train for lunch and continue to Khajuraho. Explore the magnificent temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy optional evening activities. Overnight at Khajuraho.

Arrive in Varanasi and proceed for lunch at Hotel Taj Gateway. Visit the ancient ruins of Sarnath and a Silk Weaving Centre. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Ganges and witness the evening aarti, followed by dinner at BrijRama Palace with a classical Indian dance performance. Overnight at varanasi. 

After breakfast check out at the hotel, transferred to the railway station for onward destination.

Payment Policy

  • If booking is 30 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 15% of the package cost required
  • If booking is between 30 days to 15 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 30% of the package cost is required
  • If travel is within 15 days of the travel date: We will require 100% payment.

Cancellation Policy

  • If booking is 15 days before the travel date: 100% refund for Domestic Packages.
  • if booking is 30 days before the travel date: 100% refund for International Packages.
  • Between 30 days to 15 date before the travel date 10% of the total cost will be deducted on International Packages.
  • Between 15 days to 1 Day before the travel date: 100% cancellation on Domestic & International Packages.
