Overview

Nasik is a religious Hindu city, host to the Kumbh Mela every 12 years. It also makes for a perfect wine tasting destination. The city is home to plenty of exotic temples and is known in Hindu mythology as the place where Ravana's sister, Surpanakha, tried to seduce Lord Ram and got her nose cut off by Lakshman in the process. Its religious importance doesn't end there. It also plays host to the thousands of tourists visiting Shirdi and Trimbakeshwar. It also has forts, waterfalls and vineyards to look out for.

Itinerary

Arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and board the Deccan Odyssey on a mesmerizing voyage through the Maratha heartland. Overnight at train.

In the morning you walk along the Godavari Ghats, taking in the spiritual atmosphere.  Breakfast at the hotel. You will visit the Sula vineyards for a tour and lunch, sampling some of India's best wines. Check in to the hotel and fresh up in.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Overnight at Nashik.

After breakfast you will proceed to visit the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, carved into the side of a basaltic hill. Marvel at the intricate carvings and sculptures that adorn the caves. Return to the Deccan Odyssey.

Overnight at hotel.

You will arrive at railway station and drive to the Ajanta Caves, another World Heritage site. You will explore the caves and ancient Buddhist art and architecture and return to the Deccan Odyssey.

Overnight at hotel.

Arrive in kolhapur a city with a rich history and mythology. You will visit the New Palace Museum, local markets and the 1300 year old Mahalakshmi temple and enjoy the traditional folk dance. Enjoy your lesiure time.

Overnight at Kolhapur.

After breakfast you will travel from kolhapur to goa. Goa is also known for its beautiful beaches, churches and temples. Visit a charming Latin Quarter, and enjoy lunch at a spice plantation. 

Meals: Dinner.

Overnight at Goa.

After breakfast you will drive from goa to sindhuburg, a historic fort city on a rocky island. Visit the Pinguli village and Sawantwadi Palace, and enjoy lunch at the palace.

Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast you will drive back in mumbai, transferred to the railway station for onward destination.

  • If booking is 30 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 15% of the package cost required
  • If booking is between 30 days to 15 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 30% of the package cost is required
  • If travel is within 15 days of the travel date: We will require 100% payment.

Cancellation Policy

  • If booking is 15 days before the travel date: 100% refund for Domestic Packages.
  • if booking is 30 days before the travel date: 100% refund for International Packages.
  • Between 30 days to 15 date before the travel date 10% of the total cost will be deducted on International Packages.
  • Between 15 days to 1 Day before the travel date: 100% cancellation on Domestic & International Packages.
