The Monga community established Tawang in the 17th century. The name "Tawang" is said to have been given by Mera Lama Lodre Gyatso, who believed his horse chose the site for the monastery. It is home to one of the largest and oldest monasteries in Asia. The natural beauty and solitude of Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi ranges, Tawang chu River and Tawang valley are very mesmerizing.
Itinerary
Departure from guwahati at 5 am. Rest riders plan to arrive at Tezpur 9:30 sharp and have a breakfast at Nagaon bypass. After that we will fill up fuel at Bharat petroleum, Tezpur. In the inner line permit entry and lunch at Bhalukpong. On the way, visit Kameng river and Nichiphula waterfall and have a tea break at Nag Temple. Bonfire and Live Music after that dinner. Overnight at Dirang.
After breakfast check out from the homestay. On the way, visit Sela pass and Sela Lake and Jaswant Garh war memorial. Lunch at Jung after that visit Nuranang falls.
Overnight at Tawang and dinner.
After breakfast, we will ride to a high altitude Pass called Bumla Pass and Shonga-tser Lake. During return, hit at Pangong Tang Tso Lake and have lunch at Tawang.
Overnight at Tawang and dinner.
After breakfast we will visit Tawang Monastery, Buddha Statue and Tawang War Memorial. After that ride back to Dirang. Bonfire and Live Music after that dinner.
Overnight at Dirang.
Early morning after breakfast. Ride back to Guwahati via Rupa. Will have lunch at Shergaon and transferred to the airport / railway station for onward destination.

Payment Policy
- If booking is 30 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 15% of the package cost required
- If booking is between 30 days to 15 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 30% of the package cost is required
- If travel is within 15 days of the travel date: We will require 100% payment.
Cancellation Policy
- If booking is 15 days before the travel date: 100% refund for Domestic Packages.
- if booking is 30 days before the travel date: 100% refund for International Packages.
- Between 30 days to 15 date before the travel date 10% of the total cost will be deducted on International Packages.
- Between 15 days to 1 Day before the travel date: 100% cancellation on Domestic & International Packages.
