Overview & Highlights

The name Darjeeling comes from the Tibetan words "dorje" meaning thunderbolt and "ling" meaning a place or land. In the early 19th century, Darjeeling was identified as a summer retreat for British officials, soldiers, and their families. Darjeeling is known as the "Queen of the Hills" and is famous for its tea industry, panoramic views of the Himalayas, and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. On a clear day the city affords a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga is the third highest peak in the world. The tea gardens, rolling hills, and lush greenery add to its picturesque charm. Tiger hill is the highest point in the darjeeling & it offers magnificent views of the sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga can be found a top of Tiger hills. Sikkim has many beautiful lakes dotting its landscape. Most of the lakes in it is considered sacred and are revered by the people. This plateau adjoining Tibet has a number of mountain lakes of which Gurudongmar and Chho Lamo are the most famous. In Hindu religious , It is known as Indrakil, the garden of the god of war, Indra. It is the India's largest producer of Cardamom and its abundance natural beauty with stunning landscapes, lush green valleys, alpine forests.

Itinerary

Welcome to your Sikkim to Darjeeling Tour. Arrive Bagdogra airport, check in to the hotel and freshen up and have a delicious breakfast and then proceed to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is noted for its tea industry, scenic views of the world's third-highest mountain Kangchenjunga.

Overnight at Darjeeling.

Early morning, you will proceed to Tiger Hill to see sunrise & Kanchenjunga Range. After breakfast sightseeing of Darjeeling includes Darjeeling Zoo & Batasia Loop.

After breakfast proceed to Namchi & enjoy River rafting.

After breakfast visit the famous Chardham Temple. Ravangla is a small tourist town with an elevation of 8000 feet located in the South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim.

After breakfast proceed to Gangtok. Reach Gangtok & transfer to hotel. Evening visit International Flower Show, Vanjageri Falls/Hanuman Tok, museum.

After breakfast visit the famous Tshangu Lake situated at 12,400 feet above sea level and thereafter return back to our hotel at Gangtok.

After breakfast morning free for rest. Reach Lachen & evening free to enjoy natural beauty of Lachen.

In the morning breakfast, Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, located at an altitude of 5,425 m in Sikkim. After lunch proceed for Lachung. Lachung is a mountain village close to the Tibetan Border, in the Northeastern Indian State of Sikkim.

Morning to afternoon explore the Natural beauty of Yumthang Valley & Yumi Somdom (Zero Point-at our cost N.R.I’s .

After breakfast check-out from the hotel & proceed for Gangtok & enjoy Scenic views of Seven Sister Falls & Mangan. Arrive Gangtok check in at Hotel. Evening is free for shopping at the famous M.G.Road.

After breakfast, check out at hotel & transfer to Bagdogra airport with memorable experience and depart for onward destination.

  • If booking is between 30 days to 15 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 30% of the package cost is required
  • If travel is within 15 days of the travel date: We will require 100% payment.

Cancellation Policy

  • If booking is 15 days before the travel date: 100% refund for Domestic Packages.
  • if booking is 30 days before the travel date: 100% refund for International Packages.
  • Between 30 days to 15 date before the travel date 10% of the total cost will be deducted on International Packages.
  • Between 15 days to 1 Day before the travel date: 100% cancellation on Domestic & International Packages.
