Kaziranga National Park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. It was a small village until 1864, when it became the new civil station of the Khasi and Jaintia hills. It is a hill station that is present in the northeast part of India. Umiam Lake is the perfect spot for a picnic or a leisurely boat ride. The origin of the temple dates back to the mythological ages when it is said that Sati the first wife of Lord Shiva upon self immolation was cut into 51 pieces and her sexual organ fell on the Nilachal hills where later on the Kamakhya temple was built by Kaamdev with the help of Lord Bishwakarma and was named. The Kamakhya temple, located at a distance of 7 km from Guwahati, is one of the biggest Shakti shrines in the country.
Itinerary
On arrival at Guwahati railway station/Airport, guest will be received by our driver. After breakfast, that they will proceed to Kaziranga directly. Evening visit tea garden near by the park.

An early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range for an Elephant Ride.
Kaziranga National Park is famous for one- horned Rhinoceros. The park has an area of some 430 square km and lies between the Bramputra River and the Karbi Hills. The world’s largest population of elephant’s in that park. The landscape of kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. After that ride then visit to the central Range of the park for a jeep safari.

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel visit Balaji Temple in Guwahati. Shillong is also known as “The Scotland of East” is the capital city of Meghalaya. You will visit the largest manmade lake- Umium Lake. Reaching shillong after 3 hrs journey, check in at a city. Evening free for leisure time for shopping in the famous Police Bazzar in Shillong.

Overnight at Shillong.
Wake up early and have a breakfast & drive to mawlynnog. Today we can visit the cleanest village Mawlynnog in the world. You can take the shy walk. After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is a gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place.On approaching Dawki is the Umngot River is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima khyrim of Khasi Hills over which a single span suspension bridge was constructed.

Overnight at Shillong.
Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1 half hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. It possesses some exotic waterfalls and limestone caves. Later drive back to Guwahati.

Overnight at Guwahati.
Early morning visit the famous Kamakhya temple in the Nilachali hills- a seat of the tantric cult in India is one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Return back to hotel and have a breakfast visit Sri Shankardeva kalakshetra a cultural centre with a fine explosion of the life and culture of the people of Assam.

Overnight in Guwahati
After breakfast, in the morning check-out the hotel, you walk slowly for the darshan of Devi Maa Kamakhya temple and have to take parsad in the temple, return back to the Guwahati by car. Today you will depart from Guwahati with a cute smile on your face remembering all the sweet moments spend here and drive back to Guwahati Airport/railway station for further journey.

- Between 30 days to 15 date before the travel date 10% of the total cost will be deducted on International Packages.
- Between 15 days to 1 Day before the travel date: 100% cancellation on Domestic & International Packages.
